Software Development's Ground Shift

The entire field of software development is going through a tectonic shift right in front of our eyes.

Some developers still treat AI like a helpful assistant instead of something that is reshaping how software will be written. People who ship production code every day, who have built apps at scale, are missing what happened in the last six months. The leap we had at the end of 2025 was huge. AI can now handle the full loop from writing code to verifying it runs, catching bugs, fixing them, and deploying it.

I have had a few moments where technology shifted - learning to program, then web development, then crypto and NFTs. But this feels different because it is shaking the ground the entire industry stood on. What seemed impossible last year is normal today, tomorrow that gap will be smaller.
